I haven't posted in a while..I have been pretty busy with orders and of course LIFE!!! I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of my latest custom order on Etsy. It was for a set of "Advice Cards" for a baby shower. These cards were first created when I made them for my best friend's baby shower. They turned out really great, so I decided to list them on Etsy: Baby Shower Advice Cards. The set that I just finished for a client on Etsy turned out even cuter than my sample, in my opinion... These cards can be made in any color, and special requests can be taken on the patterns I use. The client that I made this set for is planning a pink and purple shower and she wanted to incorporate hearts in the cards! I think we did a good job putting that together! I hope she loves them! I also have a sample of these for a Bridal Shower. These cards are great to use at showers for a keepsake for the guest of honor! Looooonnngg Day!!!

I have had a very long day..Today was my official last day at my job as a dental hygienist!!! Yay!!! I was only working 1/2-1 day a week...but that was too much time away from my little guy!!! So, I decided to just leave my regular schedule and be available for "fill-in" when the other hygienists need to take off work. I am excited..even though I have really been a full time stay at home mom since my baby was born last summer, it still feels good to know that now I am really a full time stay at home mom...without another job..besides my scrapbook business, but that's not really work!!

Hi! My name is Danna! I am a stay at home mom of a 14 1/2 month old baby boy. I love scrapbooking and I am trying to build a business so I can enjoy my work from home while I raise my son..and eventually I hope he has siblings!!! :)
I started my business, DKR Scrap 'N Craft on Etsy a little less than a year ago, and just recently expanded to an independent website: www.dkrscrapncraft.com. I offer my services in scrapbooking for others. I also design and sell handmade greeting cards and invitations. I am finishing up with my first new website order...and I hope there will be many more to come!! I have not had any custom scrapbook orders yet..and I am very anxious to receive one..It will be so much fun!! I am even offering a discount to my first custom order scrapbook customer!
As a mommy, I may not always be consistent with my blog posts..but I am going to try! I hope to gain several readers who are interested in what is going on in my life and business! Please follow me and check back often for updates to the blog!
